How the Online Stores Work
Custom T-Shirt Outfitters will begin the process by helping you pick the custom apparel for your online store. First, choose the apparel you would like to see sold in your store. You can take a look at our online apparel catalog or give us a call to have us advise you on making selections. We will advise you as to what products, styles and colors are commonly used in other successful online spiritwear stores.
Second, We will start the design process by using your school logo, or existing design, or you can have one of our graphic designers create one for you. This service is offered at no additional charge. When creating a new design, we will often advise that the artwork have a broad appeal. Keep the design simple. Something that is hip and trendy right now may appeal to some but may not to others. Another good tip is to keep the colors of the logo to a minimum. Try to keep it to 1 or 2 colors. The more ink colors on a garment, the higher the cost of the finished product. In order for you to sell more products in your online store, you’ll want to keep those costs as low as possible, thus having more students affording more items and sporting their school pride.
Third, Once a design has been created and you are ready to have us start listing your items in the store, we will be able to have your site up and running within a few days.
To advertise your new online spirit wear stores, a link can be placed on your websites directing them to the online store. A flyer can be created and emailed to you in a PDF file that can be distributed through your email network and staff. You may also print this form and send it home with the students. Another way to advertise your store is to announce it at School assembly, during class, and at sports events; and encourage the kids to spread the word. If your organization has a social networking site like Facebook, Twitter, a school website, or newsletter, promote your store to start building some excitement and buzz!
A webpage with your schools spirit wear products will be available for parents, students, teachers and staff to order safely and securely online at ctomygear.com. You will have a specific link directly to your online store that can be placed on an existing webpage. If you have a traditional spirit wear sale or a sale for Team Apparel, deadlines to place your order will be posted on your listing.
Once the deadline has passed, Custom T-Shirt Outfitters will print the orders and you have a few different delivery options. First option is delivering the completed order along with all of the order forms for the school to separate and pass out. The second option is for $.50 per order we can separate orders by student and teachers last name and grade and have them delivered to the school business office. You will then have the parents, students and staff pickup their order from your school directly. The third option is when placing the order through the website, the customer can choose to have the item(s) shipped directly to them (they pay shipping costs at checkout).
What does all this service cost you? NOTHING! You can earn cash back on every sale, create an excitement with school pride and school spirit. If your school wants an open ended spirit wear store where the students can purchase products all year round, their is a one time fee of just $249 and will run through the end of the school year. Up to ten items can be added, each additional item is $25.
